Love Your Patients!TM |
Hi. I am Dr. Scott Diering, and I hope you find this website helpful! I am an emergency medicine physician, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine as well as a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. I currently live and work in Maryland. At other places that I have worked, I have been a media spokesperson, and helped the hospital by doing radio and television information segments. I completed my residency training in emergency medicine at University of Michigan/ St. Joseph's Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Before attending medical school (at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, The Bowman Gray Campus, in Winston Salem, North Carolina) I practiced as a clinical psychologist. I earned my Master's Degree in clinical psychology at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Although I love my adopted home here in Maryland, I still consider where I grew up, in New Jersey, as home. I graduated Rutgers College, in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1983. Most importantly, I love to travel, meet new people, and give lectures and workshops on the topic of healthcare professional patient relations. So, feel free to contact me (sdiering@gmail.com), tell me something about yourself, and let me know if you would like to schedule a lecture or two!
